May Journal: Archive of The Past

Did I catch you off guard? Did you think the journal ends on May 10th and thought that’s my birthday? Ha, try again!

This entry will come later on even though I have been keeping this for quite some time. Sorry, I got distracted and decided to read some of my old journals. They’re from a few years back. I used to write a lot back then, now I barely have the time alone with my thoughts to reflect on my days anymore.

I’m not really someone who likes to set personal goals or new year resolution type of stuff, but maybe I should. It has come to my attention lately that I’ve been spending more time doing what others are expecting of me than to take care of myself. That includes my hobbies and interests. On one hand this is good because one of my “interests” used to be doom scrolling Reddit through a private frontend behind a VPN while listening to my favorite band’s discography. However, that also means less time spent on reading books, writing songs, and drawing.

God, it’s been an eternity since I seriously drew something.
